Pretty Link Pro bug – keeps showing as an update in WP

I’ve purchased the pro version of Pretty Link and have upgraded to that. Looks like all is good, except every day when i log into my WP dashboard, wordpress says pretty link is ready for an update:

You have version 1.7.2 installed. Update to 1.7.2. View version 1.7.2 details.

I already have the current version and no matter how many times I update to that version, the update notification will eventually show again. Need help fixing this bug. I feel tempted to downgrade as i never had this issue with the free version of the plugin.
