    Dear Pretty Links Team,

    We are using the Shortlinks by Pretty links on many of our pages.
    Recently we started having database issues that possibly lead to database crashes on our various sites. We also have noticed that the links didn’t show up on the Dashboard but after following your FAQ and deleting the click history with ‘trim clicks’ that problem was partially solved. I mean partially because we would like to keep our link history.

    The more serious problem is that after some of our sites went down showing wp_options table crashed I’ve noticed that our error log is full of Pretty Links related database errors. Here is an example:

    [05-Oct-2019 11:43:52 UTC] WordPress database error Duplicate entry ‘1038097’ for key ‘PRIMARY’ for query INSERT INTO wp_13_prli_clicks (link_id,vuid,ip,browser,btype,bversion,os,referer,uri,host,first_click,robot,created_at) VALUES (34,’5d9881f83480a’,’194.152.26.217′,’Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0′,”,”,”,’https://our-site-address/vpn-router-vs-vpn-server/’,’/goto/flashrouters/’,”,1,0,NOW()) made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), do_action(‘init’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, PrliAppController->redirect, PrliAppController->link_redirect_from_slug, PrliUtils->track_link

    Before we never had issues with Pretty Links and now this database issue keeps showing up on various of our WP Multi Site sub-sites.

    Could you suggest any solution? Would it be possible to track clicks just as a summary instead of creating a DB entry each time someone clicks on them?

    Looking forward for your feedback!

    Antal
