# Press This – WP tool

 * Hi to all, I’m wondering if anyone can give me a workaround to use the “Press
   It” tool in WordPress.
 * This tool is fantastic and works beautifully on one of my websites, but I’ve 
   tried to use it on two other websites and I get a 500 Error message (for Hostgator).
 * I’ve checked with Hostgator and they looked for a solution. In the end they told
   me it’s a developer issue.
 * Hoping someone has a solution for this. Really want to get this to work.

 * PS: You won’t be able to access the site as it’s under maintenance and not available
   to the public yet.

 * Hi Andrew thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately, that didn’t help.
 * Pasting the ‘Press This’ tool straight into the toolbar didn’t work, so I right-
   clicked on the tool, got the code and pasted that into the URL. That doesn’t 
   work either.
 * The error message from Hostgator comes up with a .htaccess issue so I’m inclined
   to think it must be something to do with Hostgator permissions, even though they
   don’t seem to think so.
 * But, it looks like I’ve come up against a brick wall, as Hostgator doesn’t seem
   to want to look into it any further.

 * Hi Andrew, quick update.
 * Surprise, surprise, I’ve fixed the problem – I hope!
 * It seems to be working fine.
 * I copied the code from the ‘Press This’ tool that is working for my other website
   and pasted that into the one I’ve been having problems with, changed the domain
   name … and it works!
 * Fingers crossed.
