When I click on Cache/Preload/Run I get this error message: An unexpected response was received. But in Wordfence life traffic I can see that the cache is indeed preloaded. So clicking Run gives an error, but still the preload is executed correctly. So why is it that this error message keeps coming back (even after repeated attempts)?

    Hi Alwin,

Could you ask your hosts for your php error logs and post any warnings/errors relating to WPO?

If you deactivate WordFence and try the preload again?

If you press the preload once and then press it for a second time a second or two later does it then complete the preload?

    Deactivating Wordfence does net help.

When I press preload and then wait a few seconds and press it again, then the preload starts running and complete. This is the same with or without Wordfence activated.

@wp-opti Since preloading all URLs of a site is a time consuming job, WP-O attempts to close the browser connection and run the task in the background. If your server doesn’t support it, you’ll get that unexpected response error. However it is only that the closing browser connection is failed, but the preload will continue to happen
