    Hi All

I am looking to try out a theme framework, premium or otherwise.

I am looking for something that is compatible with most plugins, theme structure is easy to learn and has good support. Price isn't as issue.

Can anyone recommend a framework to try? And tell me why...

I have been considering woothemes, genesis and themehybrid and would welcome comments and suggestions on those or other frameworks.

If you're looking for a theme framework, there's Hybrid Core:

If you're looking for a parent theme built off Hybrid Core:

It depends on what you're interests are.

    * Are you a front end developer looking for a framework to build themes from?
    * Are you a designer looking to make child themes?
    * Are you an end user just looking to have an easy-to-work-with parent theme?

    Hi, Thanks for your reply.

I'm a designer looking to create child themes, but also like to take a predesigned theme and tweak to suit.

I have already gone and bought a few themes from woothemes to play around with and have been impressed so far.

I see theme hybrid is rather cheap compared to the others I mentioned so I may end up trying it out as well.

You might want to try Thematic too:

It's a very solid framework, and it's free and open source too.
