Premium Themes not working?

Hello! I tried this plugin on Thesis 2.2.3 with the Classic Responsive Skin and on Genesis 2.3.0 with the Mindstream Child Theme, and neither seem to show the drag and drop boxes like shown in the plugin screenshots. So far I have only got it working on a site with Genesis 2.3.0 with the Pretty Creative Child Theme.

Are there known compatibility issues with these premium themes/child themes/skins? The documentation states “You can use Tailor with any free or premium theme.” but are there caveats?

Thanks for this plugin, I am looking forward to digging in more. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Where can I download 1.3.0? https://wordpress.org/plugins/tailor/ is showing 1.2.7 still; now updates available from the WordPress Dashboard either.

I was able to upload the update from https://wordpress.org/plugins/tailor/ but it is still the same. Clicking “Tailor this Post/Page” doesn’t do anything.

How strange. You’re using Tailor 1.3.0? Which version of Thesis are you running?

Thesis 2.2.3. Your screenshot looks like you are running the 1.x.x series of Thesis.

It says 2.2.3, running the Classic Responsive Skin.

There is another thread going regarding user roles and permissions, which could explain what you’re seeing. If possible, could you change line 649 of the main tailor.php to be “return true;” (i.e., make function check_user_role return true regardless of role)?

I was about to try what you suggested. I went to my Dashboard, and it showed an update, even though I updated manually earlier. It seems to be working now. Thanks so much for all of your hard work and for troubleshooting this!
