Preload Font Through Asset Cleanup Not Working

Hi there,

I’ve been using Page Insights to assess my site, and I keep running into an issue with font preloading. Since Elementor doesn’t allow you to inject core HTML, I’ve been following the advice on this support site by adding the Asset Cleanup Plugin. I went into the local fonts tab, added the fonts appearing in the error message, but it isn’t working. In fact, google is ignoring the code entirely claiming I have a code. I’m trying to fix the page speed in a lot of ways, but it just keeps breaking my site. Help!
