Predefined / Custom “Add Product” Page

    Hi,

    I am trying to create a webshop for used clothing. This means that I will be adding tons of products and only 1 of each. So naturally I need a fast way to add new products. So, is there a way to customize the “Add Product”-page in WooCommerce so that some fields are predefined? One example is the “Quantity” field, I have to fill it in with “1” every time I add a product. This could save me thousands of clicks in the long run if it was predefined to “1” instead of “0”.

    Naturally, webshops usually don’t have as many unique products as I wikll have, so this feature is not exactly common I guess.

    So, is there a way to customize/predefine the initial content of the fields in the Add Product section?

    I am new to both WordPress and WooCommerce, so I hope someone can help me.

    If you hover over a similar product in the list of products, some options come into view. The one we use most is “edit” but a bit further along is “duplicate”. Make some templates and duplicate one of them for each new product. That should get the new product page off to a good start.

    @lorro That’s a neat temporary hack. Thank you for that. It will however not save me as many clicks as a predefined Add Product page could.

    I guess there is no way to make an actual Add Product page with predefined fields :-/

    Hi there,

    Something that I would suggest is to create a .csv file (with certain fields already filled in), and import your products with the WooCommerce Product Importer; it may not be perfect for your use case, but it may save you some time.
