  • If I set the date for a post to some time in the future, that post won’t show until that day, correct? Additionaly, how does that affect the archive calendar, it’s not going to get confused, will it?

  • I’m sorry. Your question confuses me. 🙂
    The answer is “no.”
I think. (Dang, I can get so confused sometimes.)

What TechGnome means (I think) is when you log in to your word press admin panel, you have the option to edit the timestamp. Now he/she wants to know is if they post date the time stamp, to say next week, will the blog entry be visible right after you click publish or will it be published the next week. Unfortunately I do not have an answer for you as I haven’t started messing around with it.

    Neczy,
TG is definitely a boy blogger. 🙂 TG and I are friends, so he knows to expect un-helpful answers from me.
My expectation of the behaviour of this feature is that if the date is changed for the future, the post will not show up until the date occurs, and there will not be an indication of the post in the calendar until it is actually posted.

NM is right. I post to the future at wordlog.com all the time, so it looks like all I do is blog all day (erm, which is kind of close)…but yeah, don’t argue with a Moose

I figured he was male but you can never be to sure online 😛
