 * Does this plugin allow me to grab a theme. and add this plugin to create a site
   that I can hide all listings from the public and only have paid up members come
   in and add their own listing and other paid members to view all listings.
 * or is this plugin only a part of what I require.

 * Yes, this plugin works with most themes. You will need a membership plugin to
   charge users and control access to pages.

 * I guess trying to get answers before I have to go and signup to a forum is a 
   problem.
 * I want to know a couple of things but waiting so long to get answers is a worry.
   
   Not only do the demos not work, but I see the listings is very limited and shows
   in a very narrow untidy way..
 * So without demos to view I guess I will have to continue my search for another
   plugin

 * Demos don’t work but you can see it working in a “narrow untidy way”? There is
   an answer posted right above yours but somehow you “have to go and signup to 
   a forum”?
