Hey there,
Thank you for your question. Yes, you have two options to achieve this. You can either utilize the Overwrite tool in SNIP or you can set a field, possibly from WooCommerce, and retrieve the data from there.

Thanks for your reply. Do I have to set this per product or can I achieve this globally?
Thanks
The answer is: I’m not sure. It depends on where your data is stored. If your data is stored in the postmeta table of WordPress, it’s easy because SNIP can read data from there. It can also read data from WooCommerce product attributes. Alternatively, you can enter the data one by one using the overwrite functionality.
Hope that helps 😉

Hi, thanks again.
Well, data like EAN code is set in the postmeta table, but I have not set any shippingdetails yet.. However this will be the same for all products.. Is there no way to add this data globally and then use it on single product page scheme?
Thanks
Yes. If it’s always the same, you should add it to the Global Snippet. Absolutely!

Ok great, one last question. Does your plugin also offer product image sizes to the rich snippets? I currently use a plugin that requires me to upload 1200x1200px product images, but my product images are often a bit smaller. This is causing for a lot of image errors in google console. Does your plugin offer a solution for this?
Thanks again!
You’re very welcome!
I’m not sure what you mean by that exactly but SNIP does not do any image processing. It only uses the text (the URL) and includes it into the JSON+LD-Code that is generated.

Hi, I mean the product image.
For this to be shown, there should be a image tag in the rich snippets scheme right?
Thanks
Correct! And SNIP (normally) always uses the highest resolution possible.

Ok thanks.. but do you know if the image is too small will it be rejected by google rich snippets scheme/social networks etc? Because I found that the image should be at least 1200x1200px in the rich snippets scheme?
Thanks again.
That could be the case. However, it would be advisable to consult the official documentation for further information: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/local-business
