    Hi,

Stream looks great and very interesting.

One problem though – no way to reach them to ask a question????

Maybe get lucky by posting here.

    Will Stream work for me?

I have a membership site (wishlist currently)

I want a log of when customers login/out
I want to know what software and audio clips and video clips they downloaded.
I want to know, idealy, which video training sessions they completed.

Been looking a long time to find this basic functionality – any guidance appreciated!

Reason – when a customer writes for support and I help solve the problem (eg, loging in adn downloading the software), I have no means to tell if they were able to do it.

When another customer writes for support, it’s helpful to know that they have only been downloading Mac OS versions.

And, that they at least visited the training #1 page.

It saves a lot of time to get basic info like this instead of spending days going back and forth via ticket system with customers who have minimal technical skills. They might tell me Mac but I can see they are download Windows OS 7.

My previous system provided a lot of this data but was discontinued so reinventing the wheel.

If Stream can help with this, I’m happy to pay for their premium service.

    Thank you!

    Peace

  • Hello!

Thanks for your message and interest in using Stream! This forum is certainly the place where you can ask us questions any time.

    1. Stream will track login/logout of your users out-of-the-box

    2. Tracking downloads should be possible, but it will require custom development to extend Stream to track what you want. However, front-end actions are not (yet) trackable by Stream. Or anything done by logged-out users.

Please see this forum thread for a related discussion with another user who was wanting to do similar things as you.
