    Hi folks:

    The Description field was not showing up in the Excel extract, so I added another custom field in its place. I need to disable the Description field in one of 2 ways 1) Either populate the field automatically with a character to satisfy the required field 2) remove the required parameter from the Description field. Any assistance in how to accomplish this is greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Description field is not possible to hide and there is no settings available for this in core product. It is really an important functionality for create ticket form and that is why we haven’t given this setting. If you still want this, please contact us on your facebook page:

    Thanks for the info. I suggest that the description field be added to the next release as part of the function of extracting to Excel. The majority of the information that we collect in the forms is found in that field and it has to be pulled manually by a sys admin rather than the person managing the support items. This is important especially because it isn’t a field you can ignore when filling the form out.

    I haven’t purchased the excel export yet as I was hoping to know the answer to whether the description field was added to export. Can you confirm that it was added?
