Powerful directory plugin

I’ve used GeoDirectory for several years now. It is a very powerful directory / classified / event plugin for WordPress. But that power means it is not always the easiest plugin and there can be a steep learning curve configuring content types, plugin / content type settings, and how the template pages and shortcodes work. Also, plan to spend extra on some add-ons to get the functionality that you are likely going to need.

But once you’ve got the right add-ons and understand the settings, templates and shortcodes, you can get GeoDirectory to do nearly anything you need it to within nearly any WordPress theme.

Also, I want to commend GeoDirectory’s support. We reported an odd behavior with dynamic content and after a few emails back-and-forth, they found the bug, issued a patch, and even helped patch one of my client’s sites until they release a new version. I was pleased at the speed their support team would get back to me.
