• Perhaps this is a local problem, I am trying to understand.
I have the Polyang translation plugin installed. Another domain was used as a slug. Ie, WordPress works on 2 sites. The second site is the alias of the first. The sites are in different languages, but the player plugin is used on both domains.

Polylang was installed in July last year and now my site is in 2 languages.

The html video player was used when there was no Polishing plugin yet and the site was in one language.

I noticed that those video players that were created before installing PolyLang stopped displaying posters and videos.

However, URL posters and videos are present. The output code of the player is also displayed correctly. But the video does not play and the poster is not displayed and only on the 2nd version of the language.

I again had to roll back to the old version 1.4.0

    Hi @funt565

“However, URL posters and videos are present”

I am not sure you check it correctly. if you lose poster/video. just deactivate and activate the plugin. if the problem not solved. would you please send me a player page link?

    Thank you

I’m trying to get back to the problem. Videos are still not displayed on a site that is a version with a different language.
I returned to version 1.4, but I understand that this does not solve the problem, especially since I am going to purchase a paid version of the plugin.

The URL of the poster and video are present in the page code, but the video is not displayed. The connection of the player is somehow lost.

Unfortunately I can not provide a link to the site, this is adult content.

I have a guess that this is a limitation of the free version, when the plugin thinks that the video was added from an external source and does not display it.

    Confirm or disprove my guess.
And if possible, how can I apply for private support?
