Support » Plugins and Hacks » .pot file in all database backup plugins

  • I am about to start a web site.
Before typing all the information in, I decided to install DB backup plugin.
All plugins, that I had tried so far do not work on my free hosting (awesomewebspace.com), because they have a file with a .pot extension. (this file is eather used for some data recording, or it is the “pot” part, that scares the hosting software)
Hosting tells me that .pot files are not permitted.
Plugins do not work without there pot.
I had the same problem on my previous hosting, and that is why i switched to the new one.
    What to do?
    What backup to use?

  • .pot is a file that the program uses to store it’s settings?

It is the .pot in one plugin, but .po in the other
