posts_nav_link Problem (archive / older posts)

    @ronniebrown

    I’ve got a wordpress site hosted at http://www.thisplaceisdead.com/blog

    I’m having problems with the posts_nav_link, specifically when it’s used in the archive page.

    When it’s used on the most recent, ‘front’ page it links to “http://www.thisplaceisdead.com/blog/index.php/page/2/” but if, for instance, I go to the page for “September 2006” and click “Previous”, it takes me to the same page. i.e. the most recent previous posts and not the previous posts relative to where I am in the archive.

    Does that make sense?

    Hi

    Can anyone help with this?

    Apologies for the ‘bump’…

    hello =>

    I have the same problem.

    It happens when I change my links to permalinks using the preset “date and post” format. Everything is fine until I navigate to an archived page (by month or category). The “previous” button takes me to /page/2/ of my blog, essentially the second page back from my blog home page. I’m not using “mod_rewrite”. So now I’m just using the default => http://www.justinline.com/wordpress/ .

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Justin
