Posts2Posts and search reset

    If you’d like another challenge for a future release, the popular Posts2Posts plugin columns don’t show up either. In this example, ‘connected articles,’ and ‘connected authors’ columns collapse with the date being published pushed over.

    Also, it would be nice if the results went back to normal when the search box was cleared of text instead of remaining. This would easily allow users to reset without refreshing the page.

    I’ll have to look into the Posts 2 Posts issue when I get a chance and see if something can be done there.

    Regarding the second request, that should already be how things behave. Are you seeing any JavaScript errors that might be preventing the original state from being restored? It should be reset once there are less than 3 characters in the field.

    Actually, I went ahead and took a quick look and think I may have come up with a fix for Posts 2 Posts support. Let me know if this does any good.

    You are fast and your fix worked perfectly!

    As for the clearing of text. I noticed it works in Firefox 20 on linux, but not my Chrome 27.0.1453.47 beta on linux. No errors in the console.

    Looks like the fix for resetting the results in Chrome was pretty easy, too. Go ahead and download the plugin from the same link again and it should take care of it.

    It may be awhile before I push the change here, but it will be included in the next release.
