Posts won't publish I just get a blank page

    I am ready to chuck this computer out the window very soon so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    When I try and publish a new blog post after I hit the publish button the screen goes blank and (http://jen-rodriguez.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php) is the url populating. When I try and do a quick edit and hit publish it doesn’t even advance to a blank page it just says: Error while saving the changes.

    I read on a few posts that deleting my plugins may help. I went through deleted each one and it didn’t help. I have also tried to reinstall wordpress and clearing my cache.

    Anyone else run into this problem or have any guidance? I will give a big ol cyber hug to anyone who could help!!!!

    Hey Jen, sorry to hear about the machine of madness 🙂

    Since you do not have any plugins activated (you don’t need to delete, just deactivate), are you also using the default WP theme?

    ps: have not run into that issue; my sites or here on the forums.

    Oh bummer! I didn’t even think to just keep them deactivated… I full on deleted. 🙁

    I am currently using a prophoto4 theme.

    i’d like in on this… i’m in a similar boat… have deactivated everything, numerous times… seems to be a theme issue, but outside of replacing (TEMPLATEPATH) with (get_template_directory()) i’m stumped.

    i notice too, this theme the client chose doesn’t behave like it should as to using a child theme – it will NOT pull in the child header file, i’ve had to edit both parent & child files to get things how i want them (perhaps that’s simply my lack of skill)… tho i doubt there’s much chance of a parent theme upgrade…

    anyone know of any other ways to test plugins? i’m using plugins that i use regularly on plenty of other sites and not had this problem…
