• Hello,

I have spent long hours and days trying to figure this out. I am new to WordPress. My website is http://www.JessMorenoTV.com.

I am using the Oria theme and would like to click on each page and have static text introducing what that page is about and then simply having different posts underneath it. I do not want to use categories because when I do, it does not pull in my social media icon plugin, newsletter subscription or search bar and it displays the ‘Category’ text which I do not like. Can someone please help me?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I too have questions about static pages. I do believe that if you want to post, you can make it a static page, and if you want posts you cannot. Blogs or posts are not static, they move each time you add another blog. I believe this is right although I am new at WP too, be struggling for weeks and am stuck with static on the customize bar. If someone can help both of us, that would be appreciated. Suzanna
