# Posts transfer

 * Hello!
 * I have a site.com with about 7000 blog posts
    I decided to make a new clear installation
   of wordpress with the same Theme, but some modifications I created that new clear
   blog on a domain new.site.com Now I need to 1. Migrate this new clear site (new.
   site.com) to site.com 2. Import all the 7000 posts (just posts with attached/
   featured images)
 * So I understand how to do the step 1. But I got stuck with a step 2
    I tried 
   the basic wordpress export/import tool (with a xml file). But it migrate just
   some of posts (about 50-60, while I have 7000) How to correctly migrate the posts?
   Probably there is a way to do it with a Database? Then which tables I need to
   export/import? And how to move the featured images?

 * Now I tried All-in-One WP Migration
 * Probably, I am doing something wrong. But the issue is that I don’t need to migrate(
   copy) all the site, I need to migrate only posts (not the themes, pages etc).
   Because the new site differ from the previous.

 * There is an options-page where you can check the “Do not export Themes” etc.
   
   You need to click “Advanced options” when you export a site 🙂

 * Sure, I did that. There are following advanced options
    Do not export spam comments
   Do not export post revisions Do not export media library (files) Do not export
   themes (files) Do not export must-use plugins (files) Do not export plugins (
   files) Do not export database (sql) Do not replace email domain (sql) I marked
   them all, except that one: Do not export database (sql)
 * So it also changes theme settings (both sites have the same theme with different
   settings), dashboard setting and so on

    Of course, you need to move only the posts – my bad. Hmm, then my
   approach would be WP All Import ([http://www.wpallimport.com/](http://www.wpallimport.com/))
 * I’ve used this plugin to import 75,000 products in WooCommerce – so I know it
   can manage a huge amount of data.
