[Resolved] Posts that don’t appear on the front page

I have been blogging for a few months now and want to write a post on SEO to help beginners, but because my blog The Megaphone has nothing to do with SEO I don’t want it to appear on the front page for regular readers.

    How do I do this?

I still want it to be found by Google etc. Help would be greatly appreciated.

You could just adjust the timestamp of the post back before the last entry that appears on your front page. It will still show up in the archives and in categories but not on the front page.

jeremy’s approach is nice and simple.

If you’re going to do this frequently, you might look for a category excluder plugin, just toss the “SEO” topics in that category and exclude it from the front page.

    Ultimate Category Excluder plugin.
