Posts taking a long time to post

    Lately we have noticed that posts sent thru postie are taking a long time to post (7hrs or so) to the site. When we log into the pop3 account we notice that the email shows up and we have it set to automatically delete and to check the account every 5 minutes and that seems to be working fine. However, once the email has been grabbed from the pop3 account its taking hours to actually show up. I updated wordpress/plugins recently, but not really sure why its taking so long for them to post to the site.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    You might want to look to see if the publish date is in the future. If so you will need to change the “Postie Time Correction” setting.

    I set my “Postie Time Correction” setting to .5 hours and that worked! Thank you for your response – postie is such a wonderful app for my clients who are always on the road.
