    Hi,
I’m using ALM in combination with Yoast SEO. Yoast SEO offers the option of setting a primary category per post.
What I would like is that the posts in the ‘workshops’ category link to the workshop posts using the /workshops/ category slug. Instead, the /all-activities/ slug is used, which is not the primary category.
As soon as I substitute the ALM-loop with a classic simple wordpress loop, the slugs are returned properly.
How can I fix it so ALM uses the primary category in the post slugs?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ispacecrusader,
I’m not really sure what you mean. Is /workshops/ a category archive page? What slug are you referring too?

    Cheers,

    Hi,
yes, workshops is a category archive page. All posts listed on it should have a URL containing the /workshops/ category name. Instead, the all have /all-activities/, which is the slug for a different category, of which all posts are also a member.

    Ok thanks.
I’m not sure if Yoast has a custom method to get this permalink (Maybe you could reach out to their support team for this?), but you might have to build your own URL for the href of the links.

Unfortunately, none of the suggestions on the Github page provided a solution. I’ve opened a ticket on the Yoast SEO plugin page: link to topic on yoast seo pge. I will post any useful information here.
