Posts published on a non existing url, resulting in 404 error

    Hi there,

    I just got a domain, hosting and have installed wordpress.

    I have tried to post a couple of posts but when I press on the ‘view site’ the link directs to mysitename.com/blog/blog.html resulting in the 404 screen being displayed with the following error message:
    404 Not Found
    The requested URL /Blog/Blog.html does not exist.

    I just don’t understand why my url is being redirected to this new address. Where are the published posts going?

    Please help me…
