# Posts Page?

 * I’ve set up my WP to have a static front page. But I would still like to have
   a page of my posts. So my front page would have a welcome message, and then I
   could have a link on it for the Latest News (which would be the posts).
 * Is there an easy way to do this? I’ve looked around and haven’t seen anything.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 * Create a [Page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages), call it Latest News. Then 
   in [Administration](http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels) > [Options](http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels#Reading)
   > [Reading](http://codex.wordpress.org/Reading_Options_SubPanel) set the **Posts
   page** to that value (Latest News).

 * How do you do this in WordPress 2.5? In Settings -> Reading, there is only the
   Front Page option; the Posts Page has disappeared.
 * On a similar note, in the Write -> Page section, the old “Page Slug” field has
   disappeared. How do I assign an URL to a page, so its not “/?page_id=3”?
