    1. When going to edit posts, the page is screwed up, and has been since several of the last updates. All the management links, topic name, etc. for each post no loner appears across the top. They are all appearing in a vertical-line mash-up along the left side. Please view the screenshot here: https://tinyurl.com/23wkbj2c
    2. I am no longer able to add new images to the media manager. When I attempt to add new images, I get an error message. See the screenshot here: https://tinyurl.com/2yv5249f

Can anyone give me some ideas, answers, thoughts or directions toward solving these issues?

    1. Go to “Screen Options” on the upper right and disable one or more columns

    2. Check your hosting control panel. Are you running out of disk space?

Hello @dmarkg, thank you for reaching out. I understand your frustration when you open the posts list and see that the page looks messed up.

The issue is occurring because there are too many columns displayed on the posts page in the admin area. You can resolve this by clicking on “Screen Options” in the top-right corner of your screen and unchecking some of the options. This should eliminate the problem.

Regarding the image upload issue, it could be due to your server not accepting large images. Have you tried uploading a smaller image?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Cheers,

Steven, Jim – thank you so much, that was such an easy fix to straighten out the posts page. I’m elated.

I have considered that the image upload problem may be server related. My first action was to post here, my next will be to check with my webspace provider.

Also, yes Jim, I have tried reducing image sizes. I have recently discovered that some images I attempt to upload, which generate the error message, eventually do actually appear at the server, so a slow internet connection may be exacerbating the issue, if not causing it outright.

Again, thanks for the fast and friendly responses.

Hi Mark @dmarkg , glad you were able to fix the issue. Yes, slow internet connection could also cause the image upload error.

Incase you face other issues, feel free to reply or even create a new thread. We’ll be glad to help. You’re welcome 🙂.

    Cheers,

    Jim
