“Posts Page” acting strange

I have a static page using a template for my front page, and a seperate “Posts Page” as set in the general “reading” options.

However, the “posts” it is showing is strange. Instead of showing the latest posts in chronological order, it shows 4 posts from 2009, then begins displaying them in the correct order.

I’m not sure where to go to fix this… Would it be somewhere in functions.php?
