• Hello. First of all, my compliments to the author of this theme, it’s sweet.

I’d like to know if there’s a way I can change de order that the posts appear on the front page (not on the sidebar or any widget, I mean on the main container, the one with images like a gallery). I’d like the order to be kept like when you write a text (chronological order). Starting at the left, going to the right until the line is complete, then starting again on the next line at the left side. But that´s not how it behaves, the theme starts adding posts in the middle of the line from the second line on out, then it adds the next post to the right side of the line, and the next to its left side. And like that the order doesn´t completely respects chronology for those who look at the blog.

Let’s say my front page has 3 lines of posts, each one with 3 posts. I’d like the order to be kept like this (numbers represent chronology):

    1 – 2 – 3
    4 – 5 – 6
    7 – 8 – 9

But what I get on the page is this:

    1 – 2 – 3
    6 – 4 – 5
    9 – 7 – 8

Is there a way I can change that? I tried to figure it out on my own, but so far no luck (I’m a hard worker but no expert).

I hope I could make myself understandable here, sorry if I did not perhaps. Thanks!

I see what you mean. Hmm. If you set all featured images to the same size, that should “disable” the masonry js so that it doesn’t need to reorder to fit posts. It should then display in the order you want. I don’t think there is another way to do it.

Hi. I did set the pics all to the same size, but didn’t disable mansory. (Yes, I’m constructing something a little different than what you proposed, something more like Instagram, that’s why order would be relevant). I’ll try what you suggested. Thank you!

Btw, I checked your other themes (and many many many others out there). You’re one of the best wordpress theme developers around. You’ve got a very good sense of aesthetics, something that many developers lack. Congrats!
