# Posts Not Sorting By Date

 * I’ve just added a new post at [http://www.best-horse-trailer.com](http://www.best-horse-trailer.com/)
   dated April 27, but for some reason it’s at the bottom instead of the top.
 * As a newbie, I’ve struggled to find where or how the sorting of Posts is done,
   but I’m lost.
 * Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

 * The sorting is typcially newest first, oldest last.
 * But a change might have been made to your index.php to cause a resort of that.
 * But I’d make sure those other posts are NOT set as “sticky” in the Visibility
   section of the Publish module when editing a post.
