Posts not showing up on front page when in certain categories

    When I create a post and insert it in to certain categories it does not show up on the front page of my site.
    I have to go to the specific category to see it.
    Any help?

    Two things could cause that problem–you have a plugin that is excluding posts from a certain category or you have some logic in your theme excluding the category.

    Switch to the WordPress Default theme (assuming it has no modifications) and deactivate plugins to see if that solves the problem.

    Hi … I am having the same problem. I just added wordpress to my yahoo site, and i’ve not yet been able to get any posts to show up on the front page … only if you click on the categories. Help! I’ve spent 3 hours just trying to read where to fix this so I can start posting. It’s completely stressing me out
