# Posts Not Showing

 * Greetings,
    I’m a new user and I’ve been feeling my way around quite a bit. I
   finally made quite a long post and everything seemed find, except it’s only showing
   on my computer and not a couple of friends. They’re getting nothing except the
   notice that what you’re looking for doesn’t exist.
 * If I edit and/or delete posts….and add new posts…..do these new posts need to
   propagate or should they be instantaneous.
 * Any clues ?

 * If you marked it private only people logged in would see it — aka yoou, and not
   them.

 * That was it….thanks very much.
 * I’m still curious why that function is worthy of being included on the basic 
   platform.
 * My post was private….as in password protected…so I presumed it had something 
   to do with securing that and checked the box.
 * To confuse me further, I have the awsom-news plugin and the static post doesn’t
   show without a normal post.
 * So…. I therefore had no posts showing…..
 * Thanks again..
