• For some reason updated posts are no longer being read by the plugin or sent to subscribers, having tested a post that I’m subscribe to, the plugin settings continues to read:

Schedule: E-mail is scheduled to be sent once every hour.
Next run is going to be 2016-06-06 19:12:20 and will include 0 posts.

This has always been an awesome plugin in the past, fast, light and efficient, is the plugin developer continuing to maintain/update it?

  • I am having the same problem and I see it has been 3 weeks since you posted. I am hoping someone will come up with an answer. It worked and now it doesn’t.

It seemed to have happened around the same time the WP core was updated, but it doesn’t appear as if the developer is around to fix it any more.

May as well ignore my post hen. Ibhave found a much better plugin that works.

Which plugin have you decided to use?

Post Notif (yes, spelled like that). I was able to import my subscribers (which meant getting them out of the original plugin whih took the longest). But it works and I am happy.

Great, thanks for that! I have eleven websites to redo subscriptions on, ugh. lol

Hi, I have been busy in other projects lately, sorry about that.
I am sorry to hear that you have problems with the plugin.

I am about to update the plugin and I have recently tested the plugin for both network and a single site for wp 4.5.3 and it is working fine for me.

Is your issue only for posts that are being updated?

    Hi,
the problem is that emails showing updated posts aren’t being sent to subscribers, nor are the updates showing up in the back-end of the plugin as being sent. I’ve only just updated the plugin, I’ll run a test email and see if it’s working now.

Ok! Then I guess it is working fine for new posts.

To send an email for a post that are updated you must manually mark that option by checking “Resend post to subscribers” (in the publish panel).

That goes for every post that is updated. So only by updating a post is not enough to send an email, “Resend post to subscribers” checkbox need to be checked. And to be able to have that option you need to check your settings for STC, “Enable resend post option”.

I think you already know this since it has worked before for you, but just to be sure.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Daniel
