Oh, I am sorry! The main site is joyfullyjay.com. The last thing that is appearing is the Coming This Week from Sunday but I have had six posts go live since then.
The feed is valid but, as you said, it’s not up-to-date. I can only suggest that you try deactivating all plugins & switching to the Twenty Eleven theme on the live site initially.
Thanks Esmi, I really appreciate all your help. I am thinking based on all the things I have tried and the research I have done that this is an issue with the cron file.
FWIW, I have tried disabling all plug ins and switching to the Twenty Eleven theme on the live site and it did not solve the problem.
If you or anyone else has any suggestions for fixing the cron file (or resources to check) I’d appreciate it.
Thanks so much for your help and all your time.
Since this is specific to your site/install, it’s unlikely to be an issue with wp-cron.php. Have you checked your site’s error logs for clues?
Yes, I have talked to my host twice. They said there are no errors that they can find to indicate a problem. I also tried creating a manual cron job instead of using the cron file and that is not working either.
At this point I have absolutely no idea what to do. I am frustrated beyond belief. I just don’t even know what my next steps should be. I have spent hours online researching this and tried about 100 different trouble shooting tasks and potential fixes but nothing is working.
I just have no idea how to keep my site running with no feed. It is just not functional without one. I can deal with the ugly missed schedule posting but my blog can’t survive without a feed. It is just killing my traffic. I have posted something directly in the feedburner forums as well but no one over there is responding and there is no real technical support.
Feedburner forums won’t be able to help as it’s not a Feedburner problem. I’d also suggest that you check your site’s error logs – don’t rely on your hosts to do it for you. You could also turn debug on and enable error logging.
