posts NOT Saved–several threads–no answers–huh?

Before I asked for solutions on posts not saving and just disappearing, I did look through previous threads asking the SAME question. There were several pages of this question–and no answers.

Is this just a bug that happens that’s never been fixed?

Is there no answer?

I honestly dunno. I’m just a simple volunteer. But I’ve sure seen a lot of WP sql errors over the last year or so. 🙂

Perhaps your PHP install has error messages off?

I fixed the problem on my site by changing the theme. Don’t know why that would correct the problem, but it has.

I seem to have the same problem as karen since today, but I have no idea what to do about it. Changing the theme dooen’t help.

Posts can’t be saved, database backup doesn’t respond, changing a widget in the sidebar is impossible; wordpress takes every button click, but the effect is zero.

I get the sense that there is a major vulnerability or hack.
