# posts not causing email send

 * my blog is not sending emails out when I post. It does send other emails out 
   like the welcome email so email is working in general.
 * I have the email log plugin installed and it logs the new user emails or the 
   password resend emails. It logs nothing when I post.
 * I also have the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin installed as suggested in other posts, but
   still no luck.
 * Any ideas on how to start debugging this? I am a programmer but not that familiar
   with the structure of the wordpress code. Is there a way to log all function 
   calls when I click the publish button on my post?

 * I have debug on and logging into the content dir, but I don’t see anything unusual.
   Where should I start putting log code in to track this down?
