    Hi,

I installed WP Members and the registration page shows up on all of my site’s pages. I’d like it to show up on the homepage, which is where a blog of project updates is located, but it doesn’t, even though blog posts are automatically blocked. (That’s another issue – none of the posts are blocked!)

I tried specifying a location for the registration page just at the domain name, but that didn’t work. Would it be easier if I set up the project update posts on another page and left the homepage as a static page with very little information on it? Any advice would be appreciated – thanks!

I would say the easiest thing might be to create a blocked page (or a registration page with the shortcode) and set that page as your static homepage in the Settings > Reading admin panel. Set up the page, and then set that for “Front page displays” select “static page” and select the page.

Thanks! I ended up creating a static homepage, then moving the project updates to its own page. I made a “page of posts” template for the project updates page and that solved my problem with the posts not being blocked.
