Posts Nav Link Problem

According to the codex this:

< ?php posts_nav_link(); ? >

should have this:

« Previous Page � Next Page »

appear at the bottom of my main contents. But look at how it looks on my site, it seems like half of it is cut off. Do I have to fix this in CSS?
