Posts Missing From Site & DB

    Hi all,

    I’m new to WordPress and have been updating our company’s blog via the WP site. I came back to work after the weekend and noticed all of our content from July 1st on has been completely deleted from our website as well as the DB on WP. None of the users on our end have had access to this, and we’re not sure what happened. Could this be the result of a software update?

    I would hate for this to happen again, so any clues at all would be helpful! Thank you.

    It sounds like someone, possibly your hosting provider, restored an old backup of either the site or your entire hosting account.

    If you aren’t using a separate backup service, I recommend contacting your hosting provider to find out what happened.
