# Posts Losing Formatting

 * Hey there,
 * I recently upgraded to 2.6.
 * I’m not sure if the problem I’m having is a WordPress error or my own error. 
   Chances are I’m making some bonehead mistake. For some reason, when I type a 
   post in the “visual” editor, it loses some of the formatting when I publish it,
   specifically, spaces between the paragraph. If I type an article and add an extra‘
   return’ between paragraphs, it all gets published as one giant block of text.
 * Other formatting, such as adding bold type, works just fine.
 * Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated

 * All line and paragraph spacing is handled through css. WP ignores extra linebreaks.
   If you want to alter the space between your paragraphs, you need to edit your
   style.css file.
