Posts in Featured Article

I’m using the Featured Article Plugin for a client and have 2 post rotating in the slider on the home page. I don’t want these posts to appear anywhere els but they are on the top of all the other pages, no matter the category (not in the visual slider like on the home page). I have tried everything to get them to only appear on the homepage. I’ve looked at the categories, visibility etc… nothing changes the behavior.

If you look at any menu page you’ll see the articles at the top of every page.
