Every time I post, a comment containing the post itself is generated. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it OK for me simply to delete the comments, or are they there for a good reason?

Every time I post, a comment containing the post itself is generated. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it OK for me simply to delete the comments, or are they there for a good reason?
