    Hello guys,

I wonder if with the plugin of yours I can assemble a block of posts (titles and images) of a site2 to show on site1?

On the homepage of the Proddigital website, I need to create a blog post to show the posts of Proddigital Idiomas. But every feed plugin I find only mounts the posts with a title and a part of the text. However, I need to be shown the image as well, as it is shown on the homepage of my Proddigital website.

    I thank you.
    Rodrigo

I’m not sure what you mean by “block of posts” but you can broadcast as many posts from one site to another as long as both sites are on the same network.

Images, categories, tags, etc are all copied 100% on each child site.

    No answer. Marking as resolved.

“Block posts” I mean are the picture frames and posts titles. Usually mounted on the homepage, sidebar, related articles.

In the home page my site http://proddigital.com.br, was mounted several blocks of posts. And notice that one of them called “Idiomas” (red color), shows several links of posts of another site http://idiomas.proddigital.com.br. But I did not want to put together a link block, but a block of images and titles.

So I wanted to know if the plugin of yours can call the posts of another site and mount them in a block posts frame (images and titles of the posts).

    > another site

As in, completely different WordPress network install, or just another site in the same network?

Broadcast copies / duplicates posts from site to site, it doesn’t do any realtime fetching.

Tell you what, why not enable admin > Broadcast > Debugging > Enable debugging + debug to browser, broadcast the post and then send me the large debug dump text?

So that I can see what you’re trying to do, because I don’t really understand what you mean by blocks. Do you mean the blocks of a page builder?

I’m trying to put site posts on another site, but both from the same WP network.

What I want to say about posts block (grid posts) is more or less what you can see in the print below:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-3bBaQBNJ0mZlhEazZyeXYyQXM/view?usp=sharing

In the print below you can see two blocks of posts (grid posts). The block of the Direct (Education) posts are shown with pictures and titles. And the left block (Languages), the posts are shown only with titles.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-3bBaQBNJ0mYUt4emN2X19ZVDA/view?usp=sharing

And the problem is precisely the left block. If you access the homepage of proddigital.com.br and go to these blocks, you will notice that the block on the left (Languages), the links of the titles are from the site idioma.proddigital.com.br. But I do not want to show only the title, but the images as well.

So the posts are missing their images.

Could you enable Broadcast debugging mode and debug to browser, and then broadcast ONE of the idioma posts to the main site?

Then send me the large debug dump so I can have a look at what might be wrong.

    Thread Starter Rodrigo

    (@vejapixel)

    And how I do it?

    Plugin Author edward_plainview

    (@edward_plainview)

    Admin > Broadcast > Debugging

    Enable debugging
    Debug to browser

    Broadcast the post in question

Send me the large debug text.

    Thread Starter Rodrigo

    (@vejapixel)

What is the purpose of doing this debugging?

I’m just wondering if with the plugin of yours I will be able to create a grid of posts from my website subdomain (idioma.proddigital.com.br) to put in my home page (proddigital.com.br). And this grid of posts is formed by images and titles of each post, similar to the grid on the right (Educação) as shown in this print https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-3bBaQBNJ0mYUt4emN2X19ZVDA/view?usp=sharing

There is no problem with the plugin of yours. I’m just wondering if it does the function I quoted above.

The purpose of the debugging is for me to figure out why the images are not coming through.

Broadcast doesn’t create grids, it just copied posts from one blog to another. I have no idea how you create the grids, the debug dump is trying to help me out there.

    Thread Starter Rodrigo

    (@vejapixel)

I went to Admin> Broadcast> Debugging, I selected the options “Enable debugging”, “Show debug in the browser” and “Save debug to file”, and saved. But it did not generate any great debugging text for me to send you.

Do you have any DEMO plugin functions so I can see if that’s what I’m looking for?

    Plugin Author edward_plainview

    (@edward_plainview)

Did you go to the post and broadcast it?

There is no demo – the Broadcast plugin is very straight forward: edit a post, click on a blog to broadcast to, publish. The post will be duplicated on the chosen blog.

    Thread Starter Rodrigo

    (@vejapixel)

Is the plugin just for duplicating an entire post from another blog?
Well, that’s not what I’m after. I’m looking for a plugin that just collects the title and image from the posts of another blog and puts them in a grid of posts. That is, it’s not a duplicate post that I want to create, but a page where the posts will be shown. Titles and images) from the other blog.

Does the plugin do this? If it does, then we can follow the problem I found below. If you do not do what I want, then you do not even need to check the problems, because the plugin will not answer me.

In the post/page is showing me a text at the top, as shown below:

Broadcast does not do that, no.

In fact, I kind of doubt that there exists a plugin that does that at all.

If you don’t find a plugin that does that, then my best guess would be that you make the theme make a post grid of posts of a specific category or tag.

And then you broadcast posts from the idiomas blog using that specific tag.

    Thread Starter Rodrigo

    (@vejapixel)

OK. I really do not find anything that can attend to me. It seems to me a process so simple to do (it collects the images and the titles and mounts the grid), however I do not find any plugin that does this.

If someday you find something that caters to me, please let me know.

But thank you for your attention.
    Hug.
