# Posts for specific dates

 * Hi,
 * I have the raw text from a bunch of old posts (from a now defunct blog).
 * I just created a new blog using WP (self-hosted). I’d like to “post” these old
   articles to my new blog, but I’d like the “posting date” to reflect their original
   posting date (some of which are go back a few years).
 * Is there a way to make a new post, but change its post date to some date in the
   past?
