Support » Plugin: Post Expirator » Posts don’t expire automatically

  • The plugin used to work great until a few months ago. I can’t say all posts don’t expire, but don’t as the they continue to show up on the frontend past the expiration date.

One interesting thing I notice is that when I open the post in editor to check the settings and save the page (without making changes,) the saving action somehow triggers the action, in my case, post goes into the Trash bin.

    I’m running WP 5.3.2 with PHP 7.2.

    Thank you.

  • I have seen this recently, too. Most of the time, posts are expiring properly – we typically expire to Draft, but sometimes they do not. I have yet to find a pattern.

We’re on WP version 5.4 with PHP 7.3.13.

The same thing happened to me.
For 14 articles, I set it to add a category at 8:30 today.
Two of them did not change category.
I had debug logs for 12 articles that worked correctly, but no logs for 2 articles.

    The plugin version is
WordPress version is 5.3 and PHP version is 7.1.2.
    WP-Cron status is OK.

I am always saved. Thanks for developing the plugin.
