• I’m trying to setup a WP blog at http://www.nocertainty.com/but it just won’t work. I’ve tried pretty much everything, but the posts just don’t show. There are 120 posts in the database, and it all looks okay, but they don’t show up in WP. Not on the website, or the WP-Admin (under ‘Manage’). It just says ‘Not Found’ or ‘No posts found.’

Anyone know how to fix this? I haven’t got a clue. And the weird thing is that categories do show the correct count of posts (in the sidebar).

I’m using the permalinks, but even without them, it still won’t work.

    Thanks.

  • They’re showing up for me when I view your site.

I had a problem like this when I upgraded my wife’s blog. The posts were visible as individual posts, but not in the archives or main page, giving a “not found” error. In this case it turned out to be a problem with the fact that during the upgrade process I had accidentally deleted my old .htaccess file with the URL redirection code, and once I restored this everything worked fine.

Luhmann, the 404 error is due to the link above and the word ‘but’ being combined.

DennisP, I see posts like Avenir does.

What the hell? They show in IE, but they don’t show in Firefox? What could be causing this?

Nevermind, I got it fixed. It worked in IE, because I wasn’t logged in there. Somehow logging out, clearing all my cookies did the trick.

    Thanks all for your help.
