Posts by author shows empty page

I am using the latest Hueman theme, I have made a child-theme for little modifications, but when I click on author’s name, I get the authors page, but it shows no other posts by the author.
When I disable the co-authors plus plugin, I do get to see other posts by same author, but then of course I don’t see other authors that have contributed to the article.
Any help of where could I look for a mistake in the code?
