# Posts aren’t publishing

 * I publish posts, but the text doesn’t show up. All I get is the title of the 
   post. I’ve tried changing themes. It seems that whatever the problem is has nothing
   to do with the theme. Can anyone help?

 * And when you Manage->Posts and click on one of the posts you see the post content.
 * Is your theme’s index.php using ‘the_content’ template tag?
 * Any plugins that you can disable?

 * I am also having trouble with posting. I typed an entry, then hit publish. I 
   later went back to check it but found that the entry is only listed under pages,
   not posts. What am I doing wrong?

 * I don’t see “the_content” or even a template tag in the index.php file. Where
   would that go?

 * Disabling the plugins resolved the issue. I’m curious to know why plugins would
   cause that particular problem.
