# Posts and pages issues

 * Been having issues now for the last few weeks updating posts and pages. Each 
   time any user; on different devices tries to make changes or add new pages/ posts.
   It enables you to make changes and preview them but not save then/ or move onto
   another tab in WordPress. The only way to navigate away from the page/ post is
   to kill the page/ post and open WordPress up again and prey that the work has
   been saved.
 * I have cleared cache, enabled 3rd party cookies and deactivated all plugins and
   reactivated them one by one. I cant think of anything else I can try to resolve
   the issue.
 * Please help.
 * Extra detail- While browsing the plugins, dashboards, tools etc WordPress works
   just fine.

 * Have you tried:
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder and wp-
   config.php & root .htaccess files – from a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make
   sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new
   ones.
