• I’ve searched for quite some time and have found pseudo solutions, but none seem to be what I’m looking for:

    1) I want to write a blog post and have it show up in my blog, just like WordPress was designed to do. This blog is accessed by mysite/blog/ and shows all the posts that I’ve made, as I’ve configured it, using WordPress tools. —THIS PART I CAN DO

    2) I want that same blog post to show up in a separate “page view” with every other blog post of the same Category. Not as a “bulleted” list of Recents on a Sidebar, but in the Main Content Area, with full features such as excerpts, the option to display full posts or not and customizable number of posts, previous and next buttons, etc.

This “page view” would look and feel JUST LIKE a blog page. It would only contain posts of a certain category.

In other words, I want to write a post one time, have it show up in a long list of blog items, but I also want it to show up in a “page” that shows other blog posts of the same category. Not a list of posts, but perhaps even full articles, one after another, after another, 5 times and then a Previous.

Maybe said another way, using a URL, how can I make a content area show my blog, but only show certain posts by a category??

It sounds complicated and most responses to similar questions come back with code and long comments about workarounds. Really, it seems like it should be quite simple.

    Thanks
